What You Need To Know
- The PrizePay Gift Card costs players $2 per card; cards may only be loaded with prize winnings from Class B COAM games.
- PrizePay Gift Cards must be stored securely by the Location License Holder – PrizePay Gift Cards are not available for sale.
- PrizePay Gift Cards may only be used to pay prizes over $7 – lower prize amounts can be issued in replay or lottery tickets.
- Validate winners / activate PrizePay Gift Cards per existing processes – all card activations are monitored for fraud or misuse.
- You will never receive a legitimate call, text, or e-mail to activate or test a PrizePay Gift Card – beware of phone or online scams.
- PrizePay Gift Cards are not reloadable.
- The PrizePay Gift Card can be used anywhere MasterCard® is accepted.
What Players Need To Know
- The PrizePay Gift Card is an optional redemption method for players in lieu of lottery products.
- The PrizePay Gift Card is available for a $2 activation fee that must be paid by the player when the card is loaded.
- The PrizePay Gift Card can be used anywhere MasterCard® debit is accepted in the U.S. – refer players to Cardholder Agreement for details.
- Players will set the Gift Card’s PIN by entering any four-digit numbers during their first PIN-based transaction
- Players should never write down their PIN once it has been set – never share your PIN
Players should always take a picture of the Gift Card upon receipt and save it in case the card is lost or stolen

Q: Is there an activation fee for the PrizePay Gift Card?
A: Yes. There is $2 activation fee charged to the player per PrizePay Gift Card.
Q: Where can a player use the PrizePayGift Card?
A: Anywhere MasterCard debit cards are accepted. Refer players to the Cardholder Agreement for details.
Q: Is there an age limit to receive a PrizePayGift Card?
A: Yes, players must be 18 years of age or older to receive winnings on a PrizePayGift Card.
Q: Can the player reload the PrizePayGift Card with future winnings?
A: No, the PrizePayGift Card is not reloadable.
Q: Do the funds loaded onto a PrizePayGift Card expire?
A: Funds never expire. If the card expires, please call 1-844-833-8895 for a replacement card.
Q: Can players withdraw cash from the winnings loaded onto the PrizePay Gift Card?
A: No.
Q: Can players withdraw cash using the cash back with purchase feature many merchants offer?
A: No.
Q: How does the player set the PIN to use the PrizePay ift Card for debit purchases?
A: Any 4-digit code will work as the initial PIN for the first PIN-based transaction. After the first PIN-based transaction, the same PIN must be used for each subsequent PIN-based transaction, unless and until the PIN is reset. Never share the PIN.
Q: How does the player reset the PIN on the card?
A: The PrizePayGift Card PIN can be reset by visiting MyDisbursementCard.com or by calling Cardholder Services at 1-844-833-8895. The player will be required to provide information about the PrizePayGift Card (card number, expiration date and security code) to reset the PIN. Once the PIN is reset, the player may then select a new PIN during the next PIN-based transaction.
Q: What billing address does the player use for online and phone transactions?
A: Since the player’s personal information is not associated with the PrizePayGift Card the player’s mailing address should be used. If a problem arises, this will ensure the player will be able to be contacted by the merchant.
Q: How are merchandise returns processed?
A: If the player is entitled to a refund for any reason for goods or services obtained with the PrizePay Gift Card, the return and refund will be handled by the merchant. If the merchant credits the card, the credit may not be immediately available. While merchant refunds post as soon as they are received, please note that we have no control over when a merchant sends a credit transaction. The refund may not be available for a number of days after the date the refund transaction occurs.
Q: Can the player use the PrizePay Gift Card to pay at the pump at gas stations?
A: Yes. If the Gift Card is used at an automated fuel dispenser (“pay at the pump”), the transaction may be preauthorized for an amount up to $100.00 or more. If the Gift Card is declined, even though there are sufficient funds available, pay for the purchase inside with the cashier. If the Gift Card is used at a restaurant, a hotel, for a car rental purchase, or for similar purchases, the transaction may be preauthorized for the purchase amount plus up to 20% or more to ensure there are sufficient funds available to cover tips or incidental expenses incurred.
Q: What happens if the player loses the PrizePayGift Card?
A: If the player believes the card has been lost or stolen, to the player needs to contact Cardholder Services immediately by calling 1-844-833-8895. The player will be asked to provide the card number and other identifying information to replace the card.
